Abstract

Determination of causes of idiopathic fever is a fairly complicated process that in medical practice requires knowledge of the diagnostic algorithms for determining disease etiology accompanied by fever. For a nephrologist, the choice of the febrile syndrome treatment becomes very important due to the need for a quick verification of the disease deemed responsible for the development of nephropathy, the practitioner’s inability to use most anti-inflammatory drugs due to their secondary effects that can also intensify under kidney failure, quite often due to their nephrotoxicity; and also due to the correlation of the drug dosage and the functional condition of kidneys.
